Teacher, teacher

 

I'm a graduate of Southwest Baptist University department of music. I received my bachelor of arts in General Music. I specialized in vocal pedagogy and took piano throughout my entire college career. I studied specifically under Jane Munson-Berg. As a singer in high school, I was generally unprepared for the work music majors are required to go through. I knew a little note reading from early piano lessons, but I had no real familiarity and understanding with the subjects I would face. My mission is to make it so that the average singer is familiar with the skills required to be a musician. That they will have basic skills to practice music and if they decide to pursue music further have a basic understanding of the subjects they will be studying.
